Wake Up Call
Chernarus Defence Forces
Situation
After our arrival at COP Svoboda, the CDF air defence platoon became operational and spent the last 36 hours creating a terrific amount of noise and downing any NChDKZ drone or plane it saw.
CDF command believes that the NChDKZ forces in the area do not have good intel on COP Svoboda and are relatively uncoordinated. They have devised an operation to take advantage of that by causing havoc in the rear of the NChDKZ-controlled parts of South Zagoria using Theseus infantry.
We attack before dawn.

Theseus' combat group is currently stationed at Combat Outpost (COP) 'Svoboda'. This COP is located near the town of Gvozdno. It has been constructed over the past week and is the closest CDF COP to the Russian border.
Over the past few days NChDKZ forces have responded to CDF assaults by dispersing into remote camps outside of their main area of control in the built-up center of the province. This appears to have been pre-planned as a contingency by their leadership, but it has left the resulting camps relatively isolated.
Thanks to the CDF air defence platoon at our location and NChDKZ refusal to contest airspace thus far, as well as the disorganization of leadership after the NChDKZ retreat from the coast, CDF command believes that enemy forces in the area are unaware of the Theseus presence and our capabilities. Instead, they likely believe that COP Svoboda is a relatively heavy and static strongpoint based on the forces that were there up until two days ago.
As a result, the CDF is tasking Theseus to destroy isolated bases that have been located by aerial recon. Three of the four bases are relatively far from main roads and are believed to host only infantry. These bases are strung out east-west along a linear distance of approximately 3-5 km from COP Svoboda and cannot be reached by vehicle.
The CDF has also identified a final target of opportunity in the form of a fourth base by a defunct sawmill. This base is connected to the primary South Zagorian strongholds of the NChDKZ by road, and reconnaissance photos show that there is likely some mechanized presence onsite. It is both farthest of the targets from COP Svoboda and more likely to have been alerted to our potential presence.
Theseus command has recommended the use of suppressors to enhance the effect of the expected tactical surprise. We may be able to literally catch the enemy napping if we move quickly enough.
