Situation

Chernarus continues to face a determined NChDKZ insurgency, now digging in on the coastline after their surprising success. CDF forces are mobilizing to counter them but no major movements have occurred yet.

Theseus' clients at the Bank of Chernarus were pleased with the retrieval of foreign currency and have hired us for a second contract.

A senior executive of the Bank of Chernarus named Eduard Fox went missing two nights ago in the sudden NChDKZ offensive. The bank has informed us that his GPS locator beacon, distributed to executives if they need extraction from dangerous situations, has just gone hot. The broadcasts place him in a roughly 6 sq. km hilly region within the rough triangle formed by Elektrozadovsk, Solnichny and Krutoy Cap.

The overall tactical situation has changed little from our previous contract. CDF forces have advanced their perimeter to Kamyshovo, but have otherwise not begun any major reconquest of territory. They have set up roadblocks preventing travel along the coast, though rough roads into the hills are still open.

NChDKZ forces continue to control the interior of South Zagoria province, and the CDF has reported that their patrols are actively preventing recon elements from entering their area of control.

Aerial reconnaissance efforts have been in vain as the area is covered in thick forest and drones have been targeted with extreme prejudice by the NChDKZ.

The primary activated a GPS rescue transponder shortly after fleeing into the forest. You can synchronize with its frequency if you have an equipped MicroDAGR at the provided laptop in the briefing area. As the area is very cold and the primary is still moving, he can be presumed to be wearing warm clothing but otherwise we know very little of his appearance beyond the provided mugshot.
