Situation

Belopez Fereand has hired a formidable-sized force for his conquest of Altis. After taking Slakano and Feres, he now controls the southeastern peninsula of Altis and plans to move north toward Pyrgos and then the rest of the island. Theseus has been contacted by an up-and-coming business tycoon, Sebastian Sagora. He believes that if Belopez comes to power, a dictatorship will be established and his dreams of earning billions will be lost. He also expressed concern for the safety of civilians, though only briefly. Our intel suggests that civilians were moved north—out of harm's way—hours before Belopez made landfall. We are also informed that Belopez’s forces are about to enter Pyrgos, so if a reaction force is assembled, it will likely come from there.

End of mission brief, Nemesis was sent out to scout and within minutes, was shot down from fortified HMG positions on the town. Ares teams approached the first town utilizing Arcadians and high rate of speed to make it to cover. Immediately dispatching 4x armed contacts that seemed to be on drugs, hell broke loose.

Middle of clearing the first town, Ares 1 and a MASCAS and requested support from Ares 2. After stabilizing, the rest of the town was cleared. However, on exit both Ares' vics were hammered by a surprise HMG that disabled the teams stranded out in the open. Recovering themselves, they were able to regroup and RTB to request reinforcements for another insertion.
