Situation

A labor issue in the Currulao area spiraled out of control when production halted, allowing a local gang to seize the property and begin extorting the workers. The workers, already disgruntled over wages and working conditions, found themselves under increasing pressure from the gang's demands. In response, the Currulao Coal Company (CCC) decided to take matters into their own hands by hiring a local private military company (PMC) to oust the gang and restore order.

However, the situation took a turn for the worse when CCC failed to pay the PMC for their services. Frustrated by the unpaid contract, the PMC turned against their employer, further destabilizing the region. With their original plan backfiring, the CCC has now hired Theseus.

On the night before the contract, Theseus contractors were taking some much-needed rest and relaxation at a nearby settlement, enjoying the calm before the impending mission. After spending several hours unwinding, they decided to head back to base to prepare for the upcoming operation. However, upon arriving at the location where they'd parked their vehicle, they discovered it was missing, adding an unexpected complication to the mission.
