Situation

A historical recollection of the battle reads as follows: "Shortly after midnight on January 31st, 1968, 19 Viet Cong sappers from the elite C-10 Sapper Battalion gathered at a VC safe house in a car repair shop [in Saigon]... Their orders were to seize the embassy grounds, break into the chancery building and take hostage the people inside." This is a gamified retelling of the US Embassy attack during the Tet Holiday of '68, where members of the US Military Police, as well as American and Vietnamese civilians in the embassy, took up arms and successfully repelled the attack.

Objectives

A minor disturbance was heard on the northern side of the city, which is strange because of the treaty in place for a ceasefire during the Tet holiday. We need to check the perimeter and secure the civilians in the main embassy building. Since there aren't that many of us patrolling the main building, we should retreat inside and arms ourselves with heavier weapons. Don't forget to check your patrol vehicles, unless you come under heavy fire.

• Investigate the fate of the soldiers at the nearby US Army Dormitories.

• Civilians and other non-combatants in the Embassy will be targeted by VC, they don't discriminate. Everyone needs to take up arms and fight back.

• We received some communications from the nearby US Army Dormitories, but they've been radio silent after initial contact was reported. We need to investigate when there's a break in contact and check their status. They'll likely have extra supplies and weapons.
