Situation

After several weeks of civil unrest, an armed insurgency entered the South Sahrani capital of Paraiso and overthrew the government. When this occurred, our employer's teenaged daughter was playing house in their villa at Bonanza on the foothills just outside Paraiso. Recognizing the danger, onsite Theseus close personal security agents used a helicopter to evacuate the girl, a very fat French bulldog, a cook, and a semiconscious teenaged male dressed in a repurposed shag carpet and smelling of patchoulli.

What they didn't evacuate, however, was our client's daughter's cars. Apparently, she was taking advantage of Sahrani's liberal driving licensure regime to build her own collection of 'modern classics.' We have been hired by our client to return to the active war zone in order to retrieve his daughter's vehicles. The contract specified that the cars were fragile and not to be taken offroad.

Objectives

Retrieve our rich girl's vehicles from the garage in her father's villa at Bonanza Hill and return them safely to the airport. Per our assignment, we are not to take the vehicles offroad. A bonus is available if they take no damage.

    • Custom-design blue hatchback, licence plate 'THRTGOAT'
    • Custom-design beige hatchback, licence plate 'SKIBIDI'

    • Custom-design blue truck, license plate 'BASICBTCH'
SECONDARY OBJECTIVES
  • Return all client vehicles to the airport undamaged.

The Sahrani government fell only a few hours ago. Revolutionaries were reported to be fighting police in the streets until late last night when it all went quiet. The police have fled, leaving the milita in control of the capital.

What government forces are left in the area have retreated to a small enclave near the airport, where they are leaving the country on whatever aircraft can be chartered. Our advance team has been in contect with the government remnants - they are scared and armed, and have threatened to fire upon us if we approach their enclave. Unfortunately, this cuts off one of the possible routes into town. The Northern entrance to Paraiso remains open.

During the fighting, both police and revolutionaries set up barricades in Paraiso, made of everything from rusty Czech hedgehogs to garbage. Many of them were set on fire. There's no way that they've been cleared out yet, so expect to do some searching to find a clear route.

Scattered reports we've received suggest that the revolutionaries became disorganized after their victory, scattering all over Paraiso and roving through neighborhoods looting random houses, while the core cadre began hunting remaining police from high points in the city. Most of the civilian population is sheltering in place or has fled to North Sahrani.

Sahrani revolutionaries have a hodgepodge of weapons. Their militia wear no armor but their core cadre of goons have some body armor and are better armed, including some grenadiers. Some may have RPGs among their kit, but most squads will not have an anti-tank gunner.
