Situation

In recent weeks the Russian government has been making open calls to nationalize AxxonMobel assets in the territory of Gunkizli and has increased the numbers of Russian Armed Forces in the region. The UN has made a public declaration denouncing this mobilization; however, most countries have dismissed Russia as making empty threats.

AxxonMobel has vehemently opposed these declarations and have continued their operations in the region. While continuing their regular extraction, processing, and shipping, Axxon chartered a special flight out of a remote airfield separate from its regular shipping hub. AxxonMobel has issued an emergency request to Theseus to escort the cargo for the last leg of the journey from one of their processing facilities to the remote airfield. Axxon cited safety concerns for their drivers and possible russian intervention.

At 1800 hours, a sealed container was offloaded from an Axxon truck at the Theseus camp in the town of Bircek.
