Trouble Stirs

Situation

The Republic of Malden has been on the lookout for any suspicious activity, per the advice of NATO, ever since the incident of the hostile takeover of the island nation of Abramia two years ago. Recently, they had simultaneous local reports that passing civilian traffic was being fired upon near Pic de Feas and armed hostiles had forcibly taken over a local plantation and an abandoned radar outpost.

Attempts to identify these hostile forces using low-flying drones at first pointed toward Theseus being the culprit, judging by their clothing and professional demeanor. We were brought in by the Malden government to clear our names of the matter and identified our old enemies, Vanguard PMC and Seven Rings, as the culprits, offering to expell them from the island for a nominal fee.

Objectives

The areas occupied by hostiles and the surrounding towns have been evacuated of civilians. Theseus has set up temporary residence in a small island base of the southeastern coast of Malden, provided by the local government.

Hostiles have set up minor defences over the past two days, but appear to have just arrived on the island before that time, so they shouldn't be too heavily dug in.

• Clear hostile forces from the Radar Outpost, Pic de Feas, and the "Blanches" Plantation

Secondary Objectives

• Take at least one member of both Vanguard PMC and Seven Rings forces prisoner, so we can find out their next move
