05 - The Clouds Burst

Situation

Our overall objective is to retake the AFRF-occupied areas with help from the local militia and CDF and push them out of the region, while making it appear completely like a local operation.

After the region is secured and back under control of the people and local government, then direct talks with NATO can proceed, as well as providing troops for security of the region without NATO having taken any direct action and starting a major world conflict.

Objectives

A large column of AFRF infantry transports and heavy vehicles was spotted outside of the Chernarussian border, headed directly to the Grozovy Pass. It is possibly kilometers long.

Against all odds, and with the assistance of local militia, CDF forces, and our captured vehicles, we'll have to hold the line and prevent the Russians from setting foot back on Chernarussian soil. If we win the day, a transport plane will be waiting for us at the Northwestern Airfield, and we can finally retrieve our usual uniforms and gear.

• Hold the line against the advancing Russian forces.
• Survive.

• Keep any CDF and Militia forces that assist us alive.

Intelligence

• Up until now, the Russians haven't utilized any rocket artillery, even though our intel warned against it. Keep an ear out for any rocket barrages.

• We need to maintain our disguises AT ALL TIMES, DURING THIS SERIES OF CONTRACTS. We'll return the uniforms and redress ourselves accordingly before we extract from the region, after completing this final objective.

• Remember to stow your borrowed uniform in the box at the airfield marked "Uniforms" after we've returned from the front. Also, be sure to take whatever gear is in the uniform out of it.
