Situation

While we were on our way home, it seems the left middle engine in our C130 failed, and we gone down somewhere in Bozcaada.

We're not aware of any immedaite threats in the area, but we've only got the equipment we've brought left over from the last contract in Isla Abramia. Use what you have sparingly, and hope we can find some goodies along the way if we run into any trouble.

Objectives

We have to get to the airstrip as quick as we can. Emergency transmissions we sent out were received, so we should have a ride waiting for us there.

  • Engine failure mid-flight caused us to go down, and we managed to land somewhere in Bozcaada.
  • We could try to acquire any ground transports we find that aren't obviously owned by civilians and follow a main road.
After action report: 

Stranded Theseus survivors of the downed transport plane quickly organized but came under attack by a local insurgency for unknown reasons. Contractors were able to quickly commandeer civilian transport and conduct a rapid exfiltration while avoiding the majority of built up areas, sporadically being engaged by insurgent teams while on the road. After setting up a secure position at the airport, Theseus defended the plane sent to extract them and its crew against an attempt to overwhelm the position by approximately 2 platoons of insurgents with small arms, RPGs and technicals. Several members of the extraction team were wounded but were successfully treated by contractors and are expected to make a full recovery.

No contractors were killed in action.
