Day X
An unknown terrorist organization has taken control of an offshore platform located in the northern sea.
Day X+2
The operating company informs the German ministry of defense of the situation and that there are up to 27 workers onboard the platform.
Day X+3
The terrorist organization объединенный фронт свободы (United Freedom Front) takes responsibility and demands that Germany and its partners stop all humanitarian and other aid mission in Chernarus as well as the release of POWs. They state that if their demands are not met, they will start to execute hostages in 24h. Negotiations to resolve the crisis peacefully begin.
Day X+3
The German Navy sets its first fleet on high alert and begins to create a task force.
Day X+12
Task force Golf consisting of the frigate Nordrhein-Westfalen (F223), the corvette Erfurt (F262) as well as U-37 is send to the offshore platform.
Day X+27
Negotiations fail and the United Freedom Front begins to execute hostages.
Day X+30
Task force Golf arrives and prepares to board the platform with one combat diver, two boarding teams as well as two reconnaissance/transport helicopters.

United Freedome Front fighters
Information on the enemy is very limited.
Based on satellite images and the size of the trawlers they arrived with higher up believes that there could be up to 60 enemy combatants on the platform.
They are believed to have access to light, dated WARPAC weapons and body armor.
