US Armed Forces
As you know, we've been sidelined in Zargabad while armed groups have seized the city center and airport. We were able to secure a supplies earlier in the week. However, OPFOR in the areas has caught wind and started blocking roads in the city as well as upping their patrols in the area.
This has resulted in the kidnapping of 3 US personnel. This is cause for great concern, as US forces are not to be in the area of Zargabad under any circumstance. They are threatening to broadcast the executions unless met with ridiculous demands. If this happens, it will spark an international incident with who knows what consequences.
Last reports indicated the prisoners are alive and being held in the heart of Zargabad.
Primary objective - Retrieve the prisoners and return them back to the border checkpoint.
Secondary objective - Recon the surrounding area for roadblocks and mark their positions.
This mission is deemed classified and will not be on record. All contact with US government agencies and affiliates will be denied, all records and dates relating to this mission will be made to never exist.
A group of -REDACTED- traveling in the region were kidnapped and taken to the Villa by some high ranking members of the regime that has taken control of Zargabad. US forces in the area are on high alert, as word has come about that an attack on their border outpost may be imminent as peaceful negotiations for their release have been unsuccessful.
- Rescue -REDACTED- in the Villa
- Eliminate High Value Targets
- Destroy enemy equipment and weapons
The villa may not be heavily guarded, but if word gets out, the HVT may try to escape or call in reinforcements.
With the threat of US Forces entering the region, a large number of the opposing enemy force has retreated south into the hills and caves. A small force was left behind near the airport, and has made a camp in an old modified construction site. Early in the morning, an "unknown" aircraft had to make an emergency landing at the Zargabad airstrip. The pilot and crew survived the crash landing and have made radio contact giving us their location and status. Unfortunately, we lost contact with them about 1 hour ago.
Primary: Eliminate all hostilities at the construction compound indicated on the marked location on your maps. There may be hostages or captives in the area, so proceed with caution , and detain any non-combatants for search and questioning. We will also need to investigate the crash site, and recover the pilots if they are still alive.
Secondary: There are reports of a sniper team operating in the area, isolate the threat and neutralize it. Also, a roadblock has been constructed along the main road indicated on the marked location on your map. Destroy it if possible.
Enemy presence around the airfield has said to have picked up very recently. Possible motorized patrol at the airstrip.
Esseker was a thriving industrial town with a rich and turbulent history. During the industrial boom in neighboring Chernarus region in the 60s, Esseker slowly fell victim to economic turmoil, followed by the collapse of the Union and civil war shortly after. Esseker never was able to return to it's former glory. After years of neglect, the city has been all but abandoned aside from a few brave, stubborn or stupid residents who still call the place home.
In the past few years, people have grown increasingly frustrated at the lack of action by Esseker officials in restoring the region. Complicating matters worse, It is suspected that there are groups claiming that Esseker is rightfully part of the Chernarussian Autonomic Republic and have called for removal of the President and to join the Republic.
Unable to field a proper military due to having many members abandon and join the Chernarussian cause has put Esseker in a situation with their sovereignty is at stake. Rebel groups obviously supported out of pocket by the Chernarus Military have begun scouting and traveling deeper into Esseker, planting flags and establishing supply chains through the southern border. Feeling as though he is losing power, and not wanting to give up, the President has flown foreign advisors to help broker a deal to try to keep power while his country is slowly overwhelmed with support for the peaceful annexation of Esseker.
The first advisor to arrive was found dead on a road leading out from the airport. No group has claimed responsibility. However, not wanting to take any more chances, the Esseker Defense Group appointed by the President has sought out various defense contractors with proven experience in handling delicate situations.
Theseus has answered the call, and arrives in Esseker today. CODFISH Logistics was kind enough to give us a deal on some new heavy lifting equipment and supplies. Unfortunately, our original location has become flooded, and unusable. We have moved everything to a temporary location, but will need a more permanent area of operations ASAP.
- Scout indicated areas as possible locations
- Establish a forward operating base in Esseker
- Recover any useful assets found and return them to base for repair and/or salvage.
Mission Details Coming Soon:
Esseker Narcotics Division
Trying to maintain order in an area that's seen so much conflict is proving to be more difficult than originally planned for the current acting president. Local authorities and a locally hired security force have planned an elaborate sting operation in trying to shut down the rampant drug trade in the region. The locally hired security force has been working deep undercover for quite some time and risked much in gaining the trust of these dealers. A big deal is about to go down, with two of the leading men in charge of the operation being present.
We have a location of where the trade will go down and when. We will be coordinating with the Esseker Narcotics Division as well as the private security force in bringing them down.
Striking a big blow to the drug trade in the region would help bolster a bit of support and hopefully stabilize the northern region a bit more from random criminal violence.
Our primary focus will be providing overwatch on the compound as private security contractors who have been working undercover make the deal, and the authorities get into position for the assault.
Once the assault is finished we will move in for security detail as prisoners and/or wounded are tended to and processed for transport to FOB CROW.
When all prisoners are detained at FOB CROW, Theseus will provide convoy security for the undercover agents as they leave for extraction at a designated location to be determined later.
Proposed Plan of Action
Theseus elements will transport to the designated disembark area, and get into position and await radio contact.

NATO has requested our assistance in dealing with a highly sensitive situation. A UN Investigator stationed aboard the USS Khe Sanh off of the coast of Utes was escorted along with his team to investigate claims of genecide and human rights violations occuring on the island by the rebels who have occupied the island in a fierce battle against the AAF forces remaining on the island who have set up a defensive position at the islands airstrip.
An AAF source has informed NATO that the rebels have been heavily shelling the town of Strelka on the South West coast of the island. This is where we believe the UN team are.
Our objective is to locate the missing UN worker believed to be in the town. Travelling with him are a team of 4 aid workers, it is important that these are withdrawn with the VIP.
The current statuses of the team are unknown. Therefore, NATO has requested that we recover any bodies of the team if loss of life has occured. This is imperative to the success of the mission.
We have been authorised to use NATO equipment for this mission. This has been transported to the USS Khe Sanh ready for operational deployment.
Following our last deloyment North East of our current base of operations where we encountered a slight resistance of what we believe were a local gang operating hand in hand with the Cherno-Russian separatists in the area.
The last time we stepped off, we didn't have permission to proceed into the town of Tuk due to some miscommunication blunder somewhere within the Esseker Defence Force.
This has now been rectified and permission has been given for us to now proceed into the town of Tuk and clear out the any remaining hostiles operating within the area. As always, it's never that easy... EDF intel suggests that during our last attempts, a High Value Target made his way from an unknown separatist base into the town to coordinate the defense efforts.
Our mission now is to clear Tuk of any hostiles in order for EDF to restore stability to that part of the region. If we do come across the HVT, we are tasked with capturing him. If this is not applicable, the orders are to execute him.
Following Dr. Nutley's return to the USS Keh Sanh, the research and intelligence he received whilst on the island of Utes has brought to our attention an individual who helped fund the rebels fighting against the AAF forces on Utes.
NATO has requested our assistance on recovering Asal al-Baghdadi from a rebel stronghold on the island of Sahrani. It is believed he is working closely with a group of Russian Islamists and a local group of rebels.
NATO sent in a Special Forces advance team to secure gear and transport and has booked us aboard a civilian Antonov An-12 destined for Sahrani.
Reach the ground and locate the SF team.
Following our last deployment, an Esseker Defence Force regiment has been deployed to the North / North East part of the region, bringing security to Tuk and neighbouring towns.
Based out of what was the enemy controlled Igman Military Base, EDF forces have identified an unknown signal originating nearby.
We have been tasked with gathering intelligence regarding the signal and locating it. There has been a lot of activity within the area following the EDF's arrival, so it may be beneficial to speak to the civilians within the area and see if they have seen any suspicious activity.
MISSIONWe've been contracted to return to the town of Nekrashuk in order to recover any intelligence and equipment left behind by the Cherno-Russian Separatists following our confrontation on Saturday.
The Esseker Government want us to transport any remaining items to Igman Military Base for analysis.
They have also requested that we investigate a possible Separatist encampment located at South West of Tuk. We suspect that this was where we took small arms fire from on Saturday whilst enroute to Nekrashuk.
