Situation

Theseus has been hired by a Sheikh who wishes to remain anonymous to combat a growing Taliban threat in Takistan.

They have full control of the main towns of Bastam, Feruz Abad and Rasman, additionally they have also taken over the smaller towns of Chak Chak, Mulladost, Sakhe, Charadarakht, Garmsar and Zavarak.

They intend to keep control of the airspace above using ZU-23s along with mixed technicals. Seven Rings are also present in the region providing backup to the Taliban.

Objectives

Theseus has been tasked with the following objectives:

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
  • Clear out our assigned primary zone (Bastam, Feruz Abad or Rasman)
  • Destroy the ZU-23 located in the primary zone.
SECONDARY OBJECTIVES
  • Clear out additional assigned zones.
  • Destroy the ZU-23s in the additional zones.

After action report: 

Theseus contractors inserted by ground vehicle due to the lack of an available pilot, eliminating the option for helicopter insertion. The convoy moved in successfully and established a foothold without compromise.

Initial contact at the first objective was harsh and coordinated. Contractors approached from elevated terrain, which provided a significant tactical advantage and enabled early fire superiority. Despite heavy resistance, Theseus maintained control of the engagement and dictated the tempo of the fight.

The main objective was successfully completed. One of two secondary objectives were completed.

No contractors were killed in action.
