SITUATION

The CIA had an embedded asset Iram Naituyaga (Code Name: Sparrow) within a new revolutionary group on the rise in Tanoa. Unfortunately it looks like the Sparrow’s cover was blown and the revolutionary group has taken him captive in an attempt to coerce information.

Rather than authorize a SAD/SOG operation to eliminate the potential leak, the CIA has instead tasked Theseus with Sparrow’s retrieval.

INTELLIGENCE

CIA assets in Tanoa were using a civilian aircraft to narrow down potential sites where revolutionary group could be holding Sparrow. They had radioed in that a location had been locked down when something went wrong.

While it is unclear what exactly happened next (shot down or mechanical failure), the civilian plane declared an emergency and radar contact was lost around Tuadua Island in southern Tanoa.

The CIA is doing a good job of stalling local authorities along with search and rescue which will provide Theseus a small window of time to get to the crash site, search for survivors and/or the tablet holding the coordinates to the revolutionary group’s location.

Once Theseus has the location, a rescue operation should be conducted immediately to secure Sparrow and return him to Tuvanaka Airbase (Theseus FOB) where a CIA team is awaiting Sparrow’s return.
